We have a packed schedule of events this month, including a guest post and many more articles covering all aspects of the Andean Collection. But we are also looking to hear what you, our readers and blog followers, would like. Do you want to hear more information on a certain aspect of The Andean Collection, such as the design process, the lives of our artisans, or AC happenings in New York and other cities around the country? Do you want to learn more about sustainable, ethical fashion in general? Do you want to write an informative piece about one of the above topics and submit it as a guest post? How about a giveaway or other contests of AC products on our very own blog?
We're looking for suggestions and comments on all of the above, so leave us your comments on this post or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to hear from you!
We also have an exciting bit of news: Mireya Levy (pictured above) participated in the Andean Collection's November 2009 photo shoot in Quito, and is pictured on the cover of our catalog for Spring 2010. She is a young, beautiful, and determined Ecuadorian model, proven by her recent success in a regional beauty pageant, where she was crowed "Queen of Tulcán," a title she will hold through 2012. Tulcán is the capital of the Carchi region, one the northern-most regions of Ecuador along the Colombian border. We want to wish her our sincere congratulations and the best of luck in her modeling future; great job Mireya!
(In the photo above, Mireya is wearing a layered combination of our Açaí Rope necklace in turquoise, 3 in 1 necklace in turqouise, and the Pambil necklace in lagoon paired with a set of the Pambil earrings in lagoon.)
Don't forget to give us your ideas and suggestions about our blog!
